Zevi Eckhaus was named the FedEx National Offensive Player of the Week by Stats Perform following his performance against Southeast Missouri.
Eckhaus ended the season by completing 22-of-28 passes for 394 yards and six touchdowns in Bryant’s 45-21 victory over SEMO. The junior tied the program record for touchdown passes in a game, season (28) and career (75).
Four of his touchdown passes came in the first half (each going to a different receiver) as the Bulldogs led 28-7 at the break. Eckhaus has now had four-straight games with 300-plus years and four touchdowns.
Eckhaus ranks third nationally in passing touchdowns (28) and total offense (296.4 yards/game), eighth in points responsible for/game (16.2), ninth in passing yards (2,907), 12th in passing yards/game (264.3), 13th in completions/game (21.64) and 22nd in passing efficiency (147.9).
He is the first Big South-OVC player to be named National Offensive Player of the Week this season. The Association has had two National Defensive Players of the Week and a National Freshman of the Week during the 2023 campaign.
