Football 7/23/2024 9:18:45 AM Lindy's Names Two Players Preseason All-American; Ranks EIU No. 22 Nationally • Lindy's Website Lindy's Sports has named two Big South-OVC players as Preseason All-Americans and ranked Eastern Illinois in its FCS Top 25 poll for 2024 in its annual magazine which was published recently. The Preseason All-Americans were both second-team selections and included Eastern Illinois sophomore running back MJ Flowers and UT Martin graduate offensive lineman Drake Carroll. The publication tabbed Eastern Illinois No. 22; the Panthers are coming off a season where they finished 8-3 and were ranked No. 24 in the final FCS Coaches Top 25 poll.
